Encouraging news for freight transport in shipping containers though the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast

The private port operator of the container terminal in the port of Burgas – BMF Port Bourgas EAD  marks an increase by 28% in the TEU handled within January – June 2020 compared to the same period in 2019.
Despite the expectations for a decline in maritime transport after the worldwide outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this year, the container terminal in Burgas is operating at full capacity and reports extremely impressive results.

The terminal in Burgas serves the freight supply chain in the whole country and these results are encouraging for the recovery of the economy not only on a regional level but on a national as well.
